RA/TA positions are available in Graphics lab (http://ece.unm.edu/~yyang/), EC
E department, University of New Mexico (ECE program is ranked 63 in US News 20
14 review). Hard working and highly self-motivated students are welcome to
apply. You can directly send your CV/transcript/publications to Prof. Yang（
yyang@ece.unm.edu）. Successful applicants are expected to have good
programming skills and solid knowledge in math and linear algebra. Students
with research experiences in graphics, modeling, visualization, GPU programing
, especially, the ones have related publications will give higher priority.
The University of New Mexico is the premier research university in the state
of New Mexico. UNM is a Carnegie Very High Research Activity Institution, with
nearly 35,000 students on the main and branch campuses. It is located in
Albuquerque, the largest city in New Mexico and one of the fastest growing
cities in the Southwest. The living cost of Albuquerque is fair. Besides the
research and study opportunities, Albuquerque is also a location offering
outdoor adventure including hiking, biking, rock climbing and skiing in the
nearby Sandia and Manzano mountains.
